1988 – 2016

TURNER — Christopher L. Tibbetts, 27, a resident of Chesterville died unexpectedly Monday, May 2, as a result of an automobile accident in Turner.

He was born June 26, 1988, in Berlin, N.H., the son of Randy Tibbetts and Jamie Crist-Ortiz. Chris attended school at Mt. Blue in Farmington. Chris worked for Randy Concrete in Gray. He was a dedicated employee who loved his job and will be greatly missed by his boss and co-workers.

He enjoyed playing video games, and Chris loved to read, “Harry Potter” being some of his favorite novels. Chris had a special affinity to mystical dragons, and was enthralled with anything mythical, mystical, fantasy or sci-fi. Above all else, Chris loved spending time with his family and his sons, Brennan and Aiden.

He is survived by his sons, Brennan Tibbetts and Aiden Campbell, and the mother of his children, Kristin Campbell, all of Jay; his father, Randy Tibbetts and companion, Melissa Brown, of Chesterville and South Carolina; his mother, Jamie Crist-Ortiz of Fort Wayne, Ind.; his best friend and brother, Andy Tibbetts and his companion, Amanda Allen, of Farmington; half-siblings, Kayla and Michael Ortiz, and Brandon Tibbetts and his wife, Amanda, all of Fort Wayne, Iowa, and Michelle and Danielle Begin of Chesterville; paternal grandparents, George Sr. and Caroline Tibbetts of Chesterville; and maternal grandparents, Ken Crist and Julie Duplanti and her husband, James, of Indiana; his nephew, Jude Tibbetts; and nieces, Averli, Mercedes, Alexis and Kaili Begin.

Chris will be loved and greatly missed by his family, friends and those he touched.
