FARMINGTON — Franklin County Children’s Task Force has teamed up with Paula Norcott of BirthMe LLC to host a new drop-in group for nursing mothers.

The group will meet weekly from 10 to 11 a.m. beginning Wednesday, May 25, in the Chisholm Room at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

The group is intended to give new, expectant and experienced moms who are breastfeeding a comfortable place to gather while building their nursing network. Snacks will be provided, and certified lactation counselors will be available to answer any questions and to share information and resources.

Norcott is a certified lactation counselor with over 16 years of experience working with new mothers and their families. She also holds a current child/adult CPR first aid certification.
