FARMINGTON — Work First Inc. is accepting applications for its Albert Anderson Jr. Scholarship.

The scholarship is for students and professionals working in the human services field. Preference will be given to those working with individuals with disabilities.

The award is up to $1,000 granted annually.

Applications will must be submitted by June 10. Late applicants will not be accepted. They are available at www.workfirstinc.org.

Students must:

* be a resident of Maine:

* be requesting coursework in the human service field, with preference to students enrolled in an accredited institution;

* be working in or intend to work in the human services field; and

* submit two letters of recommendation.
