FARMINGTON The Mt. Blue Regional School District Music Department has announced its upcoming spring concerts: 

The Cape Cod Hill School concert: 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 27, in the school gym. The fourth- and fifth-grade orchestras will perform under the direction of Nancy Beacham; the fifth-grade band, under the direction of Karen Beacham; and the fifth-grade chorus, under the direction of Lindsay Burke. Patricia Hayden will serve as concert accompanist.

Mt. Blue Middle School concert: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, in the school gym. The sixth-grade ensemble will present a performance in conjunction with the sixth-grade art show.  The sixth-grade band, chorus and orchestra will perform, directed by Scott Dunbar, Krista Lyman and Steven Muise and assisted by Karen Beacham and Nancy Beacham. Krista Lyman will serve as concert accompanist.

Academy Hill School concert: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2, in the school gym. Ensembles performing are the fourth- and fifth-grade orchestras, the fifth-grade band and the fifth-grade chorus under the direction of Lindsay Burke, Krista Lyman and Steven Muise. Hayden will serve as concert accompanist.

Mt. Blue High School concert: 7 p.m. Thursday, June 2, in the Bjorn Auditorium on the Mt. Blue Campus. The band, chorus and orchestra will perform under the direction of Karen Beacham, Steven Muise and Adrian St. Pierre. 

Mt. Blue Middle School concert: 7 p.m. Monday, June 6, in the school gym. The seventh- and eighth-grade band, chorus and orchestra will perform. This concert runs in conjunction with the Mt. Blue Middle School Art Show. Ensembles will be directed by Karen Beacham, Lindsay Burke and Steven Muise. Krista Lyman will serve as concert accompanist.

Cascade Brook School: 10 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 7. Two concerts will be presented under the direction of Nancy Beacham, Krista Lyman and Adrian St. Pierre. Performing are the fourth- and fifth-grade orchestras, fifth-grade band and fifth-grade chorus. Hayden will serve as concert accompanist.

These concerts feature music students participating in the local schools’ bands, choruses and orchestras and are the culmination of the 2015-2016 academic school year.

Concerts are free and open to the public.
