Bettyann Sheats, a candidate for the Maine House of Representatives District 64 representing part of Auburn and Minot, has my vote on June 14. She has an outstanding record of community service, and she will continue her commitment to this community as a member of the Legislature.

An Army veteran, she graduated from West Point and served in the military as a helicopter pilot. She and her husband raised their children here. She owns and operates a small business, and she is active in the community. Currently, she is a board member of the Auburn Lewiston Airport, a member of the American Legion Post 31, a vestry member at St. Michael’s Church and she is a member of the advisory committee for St Mary’ Food Pantry in Lewiston.

Her goals, personal and public, are to keep Maine a beautiful and vibrant place to live, work and raise a family.

Mary Roussel, Auburn
