I am writing to support Gina Melaragno for state representative from District 62. I want her to keep fighting for real economic development that benefits all Mainers. That includes raising the minimum wage in Maine — a cause she has been working for diligently both locally and in the Legislature from Day 1 of her first term.
She knows the raise will help thousands of Maine families pay their bills and hundreds of small businesses will have more customers.
She has worked diligently in Augusta to help middle class and working families, who need a strong advocate for more affordable health insurance, more transparency in food labeling and for their voices to be more powerful than those of large corporations.
She believes good economic development protects consumers while creating prosperity for all Mainers.
