Bettyann Sheats is running for the Maine House of Representatives in District 64, which includes part of Auburn and the town of Minot.
After serving as an Army helicopter pilot, she and her husband moved to Maine to raise their children. In addition to raising her family and operating a successful small business installing shower doors and shower surrounds, she has been active in a number of community organizations, including the St. Mary’s Food Pantry, the Auburn/Lewiston Municipal Airport Board, the American Legion Post 31 and the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce.
Sheats has been a leader in many different areas and will bring that experience and energy to Augusta, representing her House district.
I hope others will join me in voting for Bettyann Sheats in the Democratic primary on June 14.
