A park bench was installed Tuesday at the entrance of Edward Little High School to honor Ray “Razor” Lemieux Sr., right, of Lewiston. Lemieux retired Tuesday after nearly 42 years at Edward Little, where he was employed as a custodian. The concrete bench, cast and painted to resemble wood, was dedicated by the Lemieux family “for all past and future ELHS students and staff to enjoy with a moment of rest and reflection” and to “take a load off” in Lemieux’s honor. From left, are Ray Lemieux Jr., Sarah Lemieux and Vivienne Lemieux of Belmont, Mass., and Lemieux Sr. Also attending the dedication were the senior Lemeiux’s daughter, Terri Lemieux of Belfast, and his former wife, Linda Lemieux, also of Belfast.
