PARIS — The Norway-Paris Kiwanis Club is gearing up for its 43rd annual Pancake Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday, July 10, at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

Admission: $9 for adults; free for children 12 and younger.

All proceeds received from the Pancake Breakfast enable the Kiwanis to sponsor OHCHS Key Club, OHMS Builders Club, Rightstart, Special Olympics, Project Graduation, summer camps, reading programs, eyeglasses, scholarships and many other programs which benefit the children in the community.

LOCKE MILLS — The Shadagee Ramblers will perform during the American Legion’s supper dance set from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at the Legion hall. Doors will open at 4 p.m.

Admission: $7 for adults for just the baked bean, hamburger and hot dog supper; $5 for children; $12 for supper and the dance.

WATERFORD — The Wilkins House will hold breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 13.

Admission: $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 to 10; free for younger children.

A yard sale will take place at the same time in the basement of the house.

FAYETTE — Firefighters, ladies auxiliary and the families of the Fayette Fire Department will serve a chicken barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the department on Route 17.

This fundraiser is used to help purchase items the department needs throughout the year that may not be feasible for the taxpayers to absorb the extra burden. All money raised stays in the department.

Admission: $8 per person for a half chicken and meal.

FARMINGTON — The Farmington Falls Fire Company will hold its chicken barbecue at noon on Saturday, July 16, at Philbrick Field in Farmington Falls.

The yard sale will coincide with its annual yard sale, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The barbecue will start at noon.

All proceeds will benefit the local youth baseball teams and community events held throughout the year.
