TURNER — Peter and Jean Adamen of Turner are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Allissa J. Adamen of Shelby, Mont., to Nicholas G. Gurney of Shelby, Mont., son of Glenn and Deborah Gurney of Dixfield.
Miss Adamen is a 2005 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a degree in nursing. She is employed at Marias Medical Center in Shelby, Mont.
Mr. Gurney is a 2002 graduate of Dirigo High School and a 2006 graduate of Plymouth State University. He is employed by the U.S. government in Montana.
The wedding will be held on Aug. 20 at the Maine Wedding Barn in Minot.
