‘Frog Prince and the Princess Brat’
RUMFORD — The Rumford Public Library Childrens’ Theater will perform “The Frog Prince and the Princess Brat” at 3 and 6 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at the Mountain Valley Middle School auditorium.
The play has been adapted and directed by Sarahmarie Gervais, who is new to the director position.
The play is the tale of an unlucky prince turned into an unfortunate amphibian by an enchantress and fated to spend his life in a deep pond. A princess happens by and the fun begins.

‘Yoga in the Garden’
HARTFORD — Karen Vasil-Busch will lead Yoga in the Garden at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 31, at Pinpoint of Light spiritualist Camp, 546 Town Farm Road.
Vasil-Busch is a seasoned yoga and Ayurvedic practitioner and licensed massage therapist.
No prior experience necessary.
There will be an open donation at the event.

Interactive musical instruments at WMPM
WILTON — Western Maine Play Museum has announced that the Farmington Rotary will receive a grant from the Maine Arts Commission to purchase a Chimasaur, an unusual interactive musical instrument, a whale drum and an African amadinda for WMPM.
The outdoor instruments are made in Maine and designed for children’s museums. They will be placed in the new courtyard so that kids can be as noisy as they please.
