LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host the next seminar in its Mind Your Business, Business Development Series: Quitting the Day Job.
It will be held from 8-9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at the chamber’s conference room at 415 Lisbon St., Lewiston. Cost is $25 for members and $50 for nonmembers. Registration is available at www.LAMetroChamber.com.
The workshop will review what to consider before putting down money to start a business and focuses on anyone who is ready to begin their entrepreneurial journey.
Facilitator Tim Cyr has started and owned several successful businesses and had a couple of not-so-successful ventures. He is a founder of the Aspiring Entrepreneurs’ Guild and Advanced Computing Techniques. He is eager to share what he has learned in working with closely held businesses and his own entrepreneurial ventures.
