LISBON — The cause of a fire that destroyed a two-story home Saturday could not be determined, Fire Chief Sean Galipeau said Tuesday.
An investigation was conducted by the Office of the State Fire Marshal and the Lisbon Fire Department. Investigators could not rule out smoking or electrical materials as a cause, Galipeau said.
No one was at the Cape Cod-style house at 2 Josephine St. when the fire erupted Saturday morning.
The house was insured.
