SOUTH PARIS — New Ventures Maine is offering a free workshop, Your Next Career Move, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, 256 Main St.

It will cover what to consider when making a career choice, the steps involved in creating a career plan, and the resources available to help a person succeed. At the end of the workshop, attendees will have a basic outline of what they want to decide, discover or plan.

New Ventures Maine provides individual assistance and group training in building careers, starting and growing businesses, planning for financial security, and becoming community leaders.
