LEWISTON — The Holy Cross Knights of Columbus Council 12652 will begin the 2016-17 season of take-out bean suppers from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon St.

Take-out meals will continue on the first Saturday of each month until May.

Items may be purchased as supper or purchased individually.

GRAY — The American Legion will serve a bean and casserole supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at 15 Lewiston Road.

Cost: $8 for adults; $4 for children younger than 12.

HARRISON — The United Parish UCC, the Congregational Church of Harrison and North Bridgton, will serve a Labor Day weekend public buffet breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at 77 Main St.

Cost: By donation.

AUBURN — American Legion Post No. 31 will serve a public breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, at 426 Washington St.

There will be a 50/50 raffle.

Cost: $5 per person.

STONEHAM — Stoneham Rescue will serve a Labor Day weekend breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, on Butters Hill Road.

Cost: $5 for adults; $2.50 for children.
