LIVERMORE FALLS — New Ventures Maine is offering a free workshop, Introduction to Self-Employment, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Regional School Unit 73 Spruce Mountain Adult Education, 9 Cedar St., Livermore Falls.
The workshop will help people decide if self-employment is the right choice. The class covers the pros and cons of owning a business, the steps needed to get started, the major elements of a business plan, and the many resources available to help a person succeed.
