RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Roger Gionet was celebrated Thursday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Nathan March was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Amazing Grace,” “On Eagles Wings” and “Fly Like a Bird.”

The Old Testament was proclaimed by Greg Barre. The New Testament was proclaimed by Susan Barre. Offertory gifts were presented by Sarah and David Barre. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Blouin, Daniel Grenier, James Gionet, Gregory Barre, John Thibodeau and Michael Barre.

Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
