AUBURN — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, for a regular meeting and bingo. Those attending should bring a bag lunch. A Steering Committee meeting will start at 10 a.m.

 

Tickets for the Halloween lunch will be on sale for $5 each.

 

A foliage trip to Height of Land in Rangeley is planned for Tuesday, Oct. 11. Cost is $5, and registration is required by contacting 207-333-6601 ext. 2108.

 

There were 54 members present at the last meeting. Attendance winners were Joyce Poole and Leroy Walker; Pot of Gold, Carmela Hewitt, Norma Goddard and Irene Fraser; and 50/50, Pat Castner, Joanne Cyr and Helen Marsh. 

LEWISTON — Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care has announced its participation in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program at 269 Bates St.

Home providers who provide childcare who are interested in serving nutritional meals and snacks while participating in the CACFP may contact AHSCC for more information.
