I am very pleased that people in District 20 have an excellent candidate to elect for Maine state senator. Kimberly Sampson will be a natural fit for the Health and Human Services Committee. As a dental hygienist, she treats victims of dental decay — a widespread cause of heart attacks and uncontrolled diabetes.
The current senator says he is proud that he has increased the red tape to get benefits, which just delays help for people who struggle to get by. Sampson knows better.
Sampson has a law degree and will understand rules and procedures that ordinarily take time for a new senator to learn. As a taxpayer and landowner in Auburn and Minot, I look forward to her help with government questions and problems.
I hope my neighbors will help me vote Kimberly Sampson into office this November.
