1951 – 2016

BETHEL — Gale G. Tout, 65, of Bethel, died early Friday morning, Oct. 7, at her home in Bethel.

She was born Aug. 4, 1951, in Malden, Mass., daughter of Robert and Marion (Bumstead) George. She attended local schools and went on to graduate from Suffolk University.

Gale worked for many years in electronics sales, beginning with Kierulff Electronics, Pioneer Electronics and Arrow Electronics, respectively.

In the early 1980s she and her husband Bill started coming to Maine for recreation and later retired in the Bethel area.

She enjoyed travel and all that nature had to offer, including hiking and bird watching.

Gale is survived by her husband, Bill, of Bethel, whom she married in 1977; siblings, Al George and his wife, Mary, of Brookfield, N.H., Robert George and his wife, Luanne, of Texas, and Marilyn Frasier of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and nieces and nephews, including Bren Frasier of Santa Barbara, Calif. and Lisette Frasier of Ventura, Calif.

She was predeceased by her parents; and a sister, Lois George.
