PORTLAND — The American Red Cross is urging eligible donors to give blood to support cancer patients and other patients during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.

Upcoming blood donation opportunities include:

Lisbon Falls: 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, Holy Trinity Church, 67 Frost Hill Ave.

Topsham: Noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Martial Arts Academy, 126 Main St.

Gray: Noon to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at American Legion Post 86, 15 Lewiston Road.

Bridgton: 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Masonic Hall, Harrison Road, Route 117.

Freeport: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at the Freeport Community Center, 53 Depot St. 

Greene: 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 29, at Greene Fire Department, 106 Patten Road.
