WILTON — The town will provide 55 gallons of water per day for free to residents whose wells are low or dry, according to Town Manager Rhonda Irish.
Fire Chief Sonny Dunham or another representative of the town will be available to assist residents at the Fire Station at 874 Main St. from 8 to 10 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The town will continue to monitor the situation and will report on it at the Nov. 1 and Nov. 15 selectboard meetings, Irish said.
