This year, I am voting for Emily Cain for Congress. I worked with her for 10 years in the Maine House and Senate. I can vouch that she holds the highest standards in integrity, honesty, work ethic, kindness and intelligence.

Her opponents blame her for where she was born. In reality, she got here as fast as she could and has lived here her entire adult life.

We need young people to live in Maine, adding to the work force, spending their dollars here and making Maine a more vibrant place to live.

Because she is trusted by all, she passed 24 balanced, bipartisan budgets, reduced the regulatory burden on Maine businesses and cut taxes for working families and small businesses. She was instrumental in creating new tax credits to help Maine businesses get off the ground and fought for “buy American” legislation to keep jobs here at home.
