Jim Handy is the best candidate to represent District 58 in the Maine House of Representatives.
He served in both the Maine House and Senate, so he understands the mechanics of the legislative world. He will not be a typical, first-year legislator. He will be ready to get to work on helping the citizens of Lewiston on Day 1.
His major priorities are increasing economic fairness and security for all Maine people; making a college education affordable so local young people can stay in Maine; and ensuring care and support for veterans and older Mainers.
His passion for public service and desire to make an impact on the lives of Lewiston residents is superseded only by his energy and drive to get things done. He wants to make a difference in people’s lives. His philosophy is “People first; Lewiston first.”
