NORWAY — Stephens Memorial Hospital will offer a Cooking Matters Pop-Up Tour from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Harper Conference Center in the Ripley Medical Office building, 193 Main St.
The class will teach tools and tricks to shop healthy on a budget.
Sarah Carter, a community nutrition educator with Healthy Oxford Hills, will bring the grocery store to attendees.
The group will compare fresh, frozen and canned options, read nutrition labels to ensure foods are nutrient-rich, and discuss ways to save money by comparing unit prices.
The class is free, but registration is required.
