PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic — The wedding of Lindsey Marie Dostie and Colby Peter Gilbert was held on Oct. 24 in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The ceremony took place in the evening at the beach gazebo of the Majestic Elegance Hotel.
Mrs. Gilbert is the daughter of Richard and Suzanne Dostie of Lewiston. Mr. Gilbert is the son of Peter and Tammy Gilbert of Turner.
Cerise Humphrey, friend, served as honor attendant. India Bell, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid.
Matthew Alexander, friend, performed the duties of best man. Usher was Brad Gilbert, brother of the bridegroom.
The couple is residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and received a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph College. She is currently a critical care nurse at Central Maine Medical Center.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Edward Little High School and is a carpenter at Custom Millwork in Turner.
