FRYEBURG — Bradley Backstage presents the fifth Encounters in Sound concert with pianist Jed Wilson at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center.

Wilson, best known for his appearances on NPR’s “A Prairie Home Companion” and collaborations with singer/songwriter Heather Masse, will be accompanied by mandolinist/songwriter Joe K. Walsh.

An acclaimed master of American roots music, Walsh has toured with countless artists, collaborated with other master musicians such as Darol Anger and the Gibson Brothers, founded progressive string band Joy Kills Sorrow in the early 2000s, and is currently on faculty at the prestigious Berklee College of Music.

Bradley Backstage seats the audience on stage with the performers, creating a much more intimate and unforgettable live concert experience. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students.
