Sabattus Seniors to meet

SABATTUS — Sabattus Seniors will meet for a roast pork meal at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Maxwell Gill Hall.

Reservations are required by Monday, Dec. 26, by calling 207-375-4037.

If school is canceled in Sabattus, there will be no meeting.

Pinochle, pitch players welcome 

LEWISTON — Pinochle and pitch card games for seniors are played weekly at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.

New players are always welcome. Pitch is played at 1 p.m. Tuesdays, pinochle at 1 p.m. Thursdays. Refresher courses are available in both categories.

The armory is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Players must become a member to participate.
