CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Carrabassett Valley Public Library has announced its holiday vacation week schedule of events.
The events will take place in the Begin Family Community Room.
Storytelling with Michael Parent: 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27. This event will be suitable for the whole family.
Death and Desserts: 4:30 p.m. Thursday Dec. 29. This book talk and signing will feature four Maine crime writers, Bruce Robert Coffin, Maureen Milliken, Vaughn C. Hardacker and Jen Blood. Following the talk will be conversations and confections.
Family Movie Matinee: 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30. The movie will be “The 12 Dogs of Christmas.”
These events are free, but donations will be accepted.
The library holiday hours will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, closing early for Christmas Eve; closed Sunday, Dec. 25, for Christmas; noon to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, an extra day open; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 27 to 30; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, closing early for New Year’s Eve; and from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, New Year’s Day.
