FARMINGTON — Farmington’s Winter Farmers Market will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through the end of April at the Farmington Grange Hall, 124 Bridge St.

Crafting group to meet
OTISFIELD — The Otisfield Sewing and Craft Group meets from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays at the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church off Route 121. The group does not meet the third Wednesday of the month.
The club members put on the tea kettle and and meet to work on individual and group projects and share ideas, skills, books and patterns. Projects members work on include knitting, crocheting, quilting, painting, fabric painting, card making from scraps, sewing table runners and zentangle.

Sandy River Genealogical Society meeting
FARMINGTON — The Sandy River Valley Chapter of the Maine Genealogical Society will meet at at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Farmington Public Library.
Sean Minear will present a program on Weld’s history and the recent bicentennial year.
The public is welcomed to attend, and donations will accepted. Those with an interest in genealogy may become a member at this or any meeting. Meetings and outings are held on the first Saturday of the month.
SRVC collects, exchanges, preserves and publishes genealogical records, related documents and information. The group maintains a genealogical library.

Franklin County Democrats to meet
FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Democratic Committee will meets at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, at 146 Sunset Ave.
Speaker of the Maine House Sara Gideon will talk with attendees about upcoming legislation and share insight about ways to stay informed and the most effective methods to have voices heard in Augusta.
Meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month. All are welcome.
Library offering Story Time
DIXFIELD — There will be Story Time Mondays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Ludden Memorial Library, except during school closings and holidays.
There will be stories, crafts and healthy snacks.
