LEWISTON — Lewiston Seniors enjoyed a Kentucky Fried Chicken luncheon on Jan. 9, before their monthly meeting. January birthdays were celebrated with a cake and everyone singing “Happy Birthday.” After the meeting, they played bingo.

At the Feb. 6 meeting, the seniors will crown a Valentine King and Queen. After the meeting, a comedy video by Yakov Smirnoff will be shown. Popcorn and desserts will be served.

The seniors have the following trips planned: March 28, Sugar Party at Cabane a Pierre; April 6 to 12, Cherry Blossom trip to Washington D.C.; July 27, cruise on the MS Mount Washington on Lake Winnipesaukee; Aug. 15, Foster’s Downeast Clambake or Barbecue Chicken and entertainment; Sept. 15 to 22, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Tetons, Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore and the Badlands; Oct. 27 to Nov. 6, New Orleans; Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, annual Christmas trip to the White Mountains.
