
AUBURN — The wedding of Monika Langley and Anthony Grillo was held at 3 p.m. on Oct. 8 at Prospect Hill Golf Course in Auburn. The Rev. Charles Grindle officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Grillo is the daughter of Penny Frost of Poland. Mr. Grillo is the son of Leo and Kathy Grillo of South Paris.
The bride wore an ivory satin gown with sweetheart bodice and extensive crystal and bead work with cascading buttons down to the chapel train. She carried a handmade blue flower bouquet made by the bride’s grandmother, Gerry Carro.
Jennie Hawkes, cousin of the bride, served as honor attendant and Sarah Grillo, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Langley, daughter, and flower girl was Sophia Grillo, daughter.
Shane Grillo was best man for his brother and ushers were Justine Satterthwaite, friend of the bridegroom and Joseph Langley Jr., son.
A reception followed at Prospect Hill Golf Course. The couple is planning a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in April. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride graduated with honors from Central Maine Community College in 2012 and is employed as a special education secretary for the Lewiston School Department.
The bridegroom is area manager at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center, where he has been employed for the past 11 years.
