GORHAM — The Maine Engineering Promotional Council has announced that 16 schools have been selected to receive $500 each to bus students to the Maine Engineering Expo at the University of Southern Maine on March 4.
The event will be held at the Gorham campus from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is the fourth year MEPC has provided bus grants to schools throughout Maine.
Locally, the grants will go to:
• Oxford Elementary School;
• Winthrop Grade School and Winthrop Middle School;
• Mt. Abram High School, Salem;
• Gray-New Gloucester High School; and
• Auburn School Department 21st CCLC after-school programs (in six schools).
