AUBURN — Skelton Taintor & Abbott shareholder Rebecca Webber will be one of the panelists at the 16th Annual Employment Law Update, sponsored by the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Maine State Bar Association.
The daylong event will take place April 3 at the Augusta Civic Center.
Webber will present on the topic of Settlement Agreements: The Devil Is in the Details. She will examine some of the issues that surface in negotiating and drafting settlement agreements. Topics include allocation of settlement proceeds, Medicare and Social Security liens, letters of reference, indemnification, confidentiality and non-disparagement clauses.
Webber, who has earned the preeminent AV-rating from Martindale-Hubbell, is a sought-after presenter at seminars and conferences on subjects related to employment law.
