Boardgames at Turner Library

TURNER — Turner Public Library will offer its first Game Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 18.

A variety of cooperative and competitive games will be available to try, including Settlers of Catan, Munchkin, Ticket to Ride, Shadows over Camelot, Elder Sign, and others. Those attending may bring their own game to set up and play.

“Many of the games we’ll have available are unlike most traditional board games,” says Luke Lorrimer, library volunteer. “These games aren’t using dice to follow a track but require plans and strategy to outwit your opponents and come out on top.

The library even has games patrons can borrow, like the cooperative group storytelling game, Microscope, and the investigative horror role playing game, Trail of Cthulhu.
