
Rumford Hospital Vice President of Operations Rob Slattery presented Patty Duguay, executive director of River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition, and Mitzi Sequoia, class facilitator, with a check to support the “Moving Freely” program. The six weeks of classes focus on helping seniors increase flexibility, joint stability, balance, coordination, agility, muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. Classes are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the River Valley Recreation Center in Mexico. For more information, contact Mitzi Sequoia at 207-364-7400.
