Texas Hold Em’ poker
PARIS — The AMVETS’s monthly Texas Hold Em’ poker tournaments are held at 6 p.m. on the first Friday of the month, at the VFW Hall at 58 East Main St.
Next Tournament will be Friday, April 7.
The doors and the kitchen will open at 5 p.m. There will be a 50/50 raffle.

Holy Savior School benefit auction
RUMFORD — The Holy Savior Catholic School annual live benefit auction will be held Friday, April 7, at the American Legion Hall on Congress Street.
Auctioneer Mark Prevost will be at the microphone.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. with pub-style food available to purchase. The auction will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The general public is invited.
Legion to host indoor yard sale
PARIS – Post No. 72, American Legion, will hold an indoor yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at the hall on Church Street.
The lunch counter will be open. Proceeds will benefit the Ladies Auxiliary in sending local girls to Girls State.

Annual antique, collectible sale
FARMINGTON — Fairbanks School’s annual antique and collectible sale will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8, at 508 Fairbanks Road, Route 4.
Lots of interesting items will be featured, including furniture, glass, vintage clothing, kitchenware, jewelry, collectibles, and more.
Donations will be accepted for the sale.

Fourth annual Silent Film Night
DIXFIELD — The fourth annual Silent Film Night will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, at the Dixfield Tuscan Opera House.
The feature will be “Ben-Hur,” a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer picture.
The event is hosted by the Dirigo High School’s River Valley Civilization Class, with all proceeds to benefit the Dixfield Historical Society.
Tickets are $10 and may be purchased in advance at Dirigo High School.
