NORWAY — The Children’s Room of the Norway Memorial Library will offer 1, 2, 3 Play with Me for parents or caregivers and their children, newborn to 3 years old, as part of Family Place Library programming.
1, 2, 3 Play with Me will be held on four Monday afternoons in May from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. There is no cost for participation. The program supports the role of parents as the first teachers of their children, provides information about child development, and shares strategies for healthy families. Each session will include time for play with developmentally appropriate toys, books and activities. Each session will also provide an opportunity to talk with local child development professionals.
Registration is required by Monday, April 17.
The Norway Memorial Library is one of more than 250 Family Place Libraries nationwide. In addition to 1, 2, 3 Play with Me, Norway Memorial Library offers parenting resources, books and programming for infants and toddlers, and educational materials that are available for checking out.
