AUBURN — Florence J. Bouvier, 96, of Cleveland Avenue, died Saturday, April 1, at her home, with her family by her side.

Born in Brunswick, on Jan. 18, 1921, a daughter of the late Leon and Antoinette Brassard Bernier, she was educated in Brunswick schools. She was married to P.C. Laurier Bouvier, who died July 20, 2011.

Florence was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish at Sacred Heart Church. Mom will be remembered for her love of gardening and loved having her family around. She was an avid sports fan; she loved her Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins. She was also an avid reader.

She is survived by her daughter, Louise J. Bouvier, of Auburn; her sons Laurier L. Bouvier and wife, Sandie Rausch, of Iowa, Claude N. Bouvier and wife, Barbara Bouvier, of Auburn; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by a great-grandson, Joshua; and eight sisters and brothers.
