TORRINGTON, Conn. — Bruce E. Chamberlain, 68, of Torrington, Conn., passed away Sunday, April 2, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Conn.
He was born Jan. 3, 1949, in Lewiston, the son of Merrill and Ellen (Lee) Chamberlain. He was a graduate of Lewis Mills High School in Burlington, Conn. Following graduation he joined the U.S. Army and served during Vietnam.
Bruce worked as an automobile mechanic until he was forced to stop because of declining health.
He is survived by his mother, Ellen Chamberlain, of Canton; his sister, Valerie Arendt, and her husband, Jon; his niece, Beth, and nephew, Greg, of Southbury, Conn.; and his daughter, Terri Villarouel-Huey, of California.
He was predeceased by his father, Merrill Chamberlain.
