LEWISTON — The infectious power of a smile will be discussed from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at Lifetree Café, 1919 Lisbon Road.
The program, titled “Smile Awhile: An Hour of Happy,” explores the mental and physical benefits of smiling and features a screening of the short film, “The Honey and Bears.”
“When facing everyday pressures, including work, finances, and even the current political scene, it’s easy to lose track of what makes you happy,” says Lifetree representative Craig Cable. “This program is dedicated to giving people an hour-long reprieve while also bringing a smile to their faces.”
During the program, participants will have the opportunity to discuss times in life they have felt genuinely happy. Admission is free.
