[/media-credit] Karin and Nicholas Puiia III

WEST PARIS — The wedding of Karin Bisson and Nicholas Puiia III was held at 3 p.m. on Nov. 26 at Ring McKeen Legion Hall in West Paris. Amber Bachelder, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Puiia is the daughter of Edith and Gary Okenquist of Bethel. Mr. Puiia is the son of Sue Richard of Rumford and Nicholas Puiia Jr. of Scarborough.

The bride wore an ivory strapless A-line gown with sweetheart neckline, in ballgown style with taffeta skirt and lace bodice. The gown had a red satin sash around the waist with pearl and gemstone snowflake broach. She carried a bouquet of red roses with Christmas greenery and berries.

Samantha Wheelock, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittney Brown, friend of the bride, and Amelia Bisson, daughter of the bride. Angelina and Rosaria Puiia, daughters of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Best men were Chris Prue, J.J. Bartash and Seth Fournier, friends of the bridegroom. Oliver and Sawyer Bisson, sons of the bride, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Ring McKeen Legion Hall, after which the couple traveled on an Eastern Caribbean cruise. They are residing in West Paris.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Phoenix, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is a second grade teacher at Agnes Gray Elementary School in West Paris.

The bridegroom attended the University of Maine and is a sales agent for AFLAC.
