High Street Congregational Church acolyte James Robinson, 10, of Lewiston holds the cross and watches parishioners of his church and St. Michael’s Episcopal Church wave their palm leaves at a “Parade of Palms” event on the Pleasant Street sidewalk in Auburn between the two churches during their Palm Sunday Masses. It was the first time the two congregations had participated in an event together. More interfaith interaction is planned in the future.
