FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington will present its annual student-directed and -produced One Act Play Festival, April 21-23.

Performances will be held at the UMF Alumni Theater and are open to the public. They are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 21 and April 22; and at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23.

The festival is directed and produced by the Theater 377 class, aided by student volunteers. Kaylee Pickering of Belfast and Madison Uliano of Bar Harbor are co-stage managers. Uliano also is costume designer for the productions.

The festival schedule is:

• “Impromptu” by Tad Mosel. Director, Steffon Gales of Roxbury, Massachusetts; production assistant, Hope Lash of Waldoboro; cast, Astra Pierson of Farmington, Matthew Dotson of Boerne, Texas, Tucker Atwood of Embden, Chloe Hoecker of Boothbay Harbor.

• “Home Free!” by Lanford Wilson. Director, Jonas Maines of Portland; production assistant, Sydney Gustafson of Rockland; cast, Julie Guerra of Falmouth and Tucker T. Tardif of Gray.

• “The Boundary” by Tom Stoppard and Clive Exton. Director, Konner Wilson of Dexter; production assistant, Isabel Robertson of Cape Elizabeth; cast, Brock Bubar of Etna, Declan Attaway-Murphy of Portland, Izzy Bailey of Fairfield, Cody Campbell of Lisbon.

• “Greetings from the Moon” by Zack Peercy of Farmington. Director, Zack Peercy; production assistant, Jaynee Goddard of Jefferson; cast, Hailey Craig of Trenton and Kristine Sarasin of Plaistow, New Hampshire.

These productions are sponsored by Theatre UMF and the UMF Department of the Visual and Performing Arts.  

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students with ID. Box Office opens one hour before the performance with tickets available.
