AUBURN — Maine Connections Academy, the state’s first virtual public charter school, has selected Meaghan Dyer, a seventh-grader from Auburn, as its March STAR Student.
Dyer started with the academy this school year. She loves to problem solve, so math is her favorite subject. Using these skills, she hopes to become an architect so she can design homes and commercial space.
Outside of school, Dyer trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is working toward earning her next belt. She is also learning to play the piano.
