Friday, April 28, The Juke Joint Devils will perform at Guthries, 115 Middle St., Lewiston. The Juke Joint Devils play an energetic, swinging blues. It’s a foot-stomping, hip-shaking genre that harkens back to that swampy, riffy, rocky sound people heard it noisy bars. The band features International Blues Challenge finalists Tommy O’Connell, above, on harp and vocals, Mike Murphy on drums, Gerry Burn on stand-up bass and George Stamboulis on guitar. The show begins at 8 p.m. There is no cover. FMI: Call 376-3344.
