DIXFIELD — Graveside services with military honors for Mr. Norbert N. “Norbie” Rose of Mexico were conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Dixfield, with the Rev. Izzie Radford-Nash officiating. As Mr. Rose worked for many years until retirement at Central Maine Power, Norbert’s urn was dropped into the cemetery by a CMP bucket truck into the hands of his son, James Rose, by CMP employee Kevin Gallant for the committal services. Words of remembrance were given by his son, James Rose, daughter, Kathryn Macgowan, and friend, Ginny Litalien. Military honors were presented by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program of Augusta. A reception followed at the Mexico Congregational Church. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St., P. O. Box 537, Rumford, ME 04276.
