East Auburn 14, Austin Associates 4

AUBURN — East Auburn picked up two wins in the opening week of Auburn Suburban Major Baseball. On opening day, East Auburn topped Austin Associates 14-4. Kevin Frey, Braden Paradie and William Marcotte led the offense with two hits apiece, while Campbell Cassidy and Kade Masselli contributed with a hit each. Cassidy picked up the win on the mound for East Auburn. Owen Scott led Austin with two doubles. TJ Kramarz and Lucas Martin also each had a hit.

East Auburn 4, Hardy Wolf & Downing 2

AUBURN — On May 10, East Auburn improved to 2-0 with a hard fought 4-2 victory over Hardy Wolf & Downing. Kade Masselli was solid on the mound, hurling all six innings earning a complete game victory. Masselli yielded just three hits to the opposition. Tate Morse, Landon Cougle and Conner Brann had Hardy’s three hits, with Morse’s being a triple. Drew Smith led the offense for East Auburn going 3-for-3 and with a solo home run. William Marcotte, Masselli and Kevin Frey also had a hit apiece for the victors.
