AUBURN — New Auburn Neighborhood watch will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25,  at the Sixth Street Congregational Church.

Lincoln Day celebration May 26

LEWISTON — Androscoggin County Republicans’ Lincoln Day celebration will be from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, May 26, at the Royal Oak Room, 1 Bates St.

There will be a reception, guest speakers and an auction. After 7:30 p.m., music will be provided by the Moon Dawgs.

There will be a covered courtyard for quieter mingling.

Tickets are $50.

Lewiston Bridge Club results

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners on May 15 were, first in A, Les Buzzell and Rick Verrill; second in A and first in B, Paul Clement and Roger Labbe; third in A and second in B, Dick Allen and Richard Balian; fourth in B, Nancy Farmer and Luke Merry; and, third in B and first in C, Cynthia and Bill Clifford.

Winners of the quarterly club championship on May 16 were, first in A, Luke Merry and Mike Quinn; second in A, Jan and Vern Arey; third in A and first in B, Nancy Lindgren and Claire Lyons; fourth in A, Fred Letourneau and David Offer; and, second in B and first in C, Sue Kaluzynski and Kathy Burden.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesday, in the Seniors’ Room at
the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is guaranteed,
and all bridge players are welcomed.
