Boy Scouts of Troop 500 of Strong attended the Scout-O-Rama in Freeport. There were 4,000 other Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts, Adventurers and adult Scouters also in attendance. They were taught CPR, viewed speakers on survival, used a climbing wall and took part in a variety of other activities. After trying more than 25 stations, the boys were awarded a patch that commemorated the day.
